About the Role
The incumbent will set the strategic direction for cost, risk and schedule management, own the project budget approval process, and lead risk workshops to define mitigation actions. They will drive the production of regular performance reports, manage audit and compliance activities, and oversee the development of Project Execution Plans, master schedules and change‑impact strategies. Additionally, they will establish diversity compliance protocols, Monte Carlo risk analyses, and ensure SOX controls where applicable. • Lead strategic project controls for cost, risk, and schedule management • Oversee project budget approval and cash‑flow planning • Conduct risk workshops and maintain Monte Carlo analyses • Produce regular performance, forecasting, and status reports • Manage audit processes for federal cooperative agreements • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and SOX controls • Guide development of Project Execution Plans and master schedules • Drive change‑management and impact‑mitigation throughout project lifecycle • Mentor and motivate a high‑performing project controls team • Implement diversity compliance monitoring and reporting protocols • Develop and review cost‑reduction and diversity recommendations

What You Bring
The firm is hiring an Associate Director‑Project Controls to lead controls services for major client accounts. The role is remote with required client travel, demands U.S. citizenship, and focuses on federally funded projects and cooperative agreements. Experience in grant administration and audit leadership is also required. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in construction‑related fields, with a graduate degree preferred, and at least 12 years of project‑controls experience, including two years managing high‑performing teams. Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and advanced Excel, as well as strong analytical, presentation and leadership skills, are essential. Benefits
The position offers a base salary between $160,000 and $180,000, with flexibility to adjust based on experience.
