About the Role
• Own all aspects of project delivery, including health & safety, technical quality, schedule and budget • Manage multi‑disciplinary engineering teams • Identify and shape complementary service opportunities across WSP globally • Build and maintain client relationships to ensure project success and satisfaction • Drive innovative approaches, new services and digital products • Support the Future Ready and Net Zero programmes • Act as a best‑practice ambassador within the Asset Design team and client initiatives • Lead bid preparation and develop resource and budget plans • Line‑manage and mentor graduate engineers and degree apprentices • Contribute to recruitment and growth of the civil engineering team

What You Bring
• Hold a Civil Engineering degree and chartered status or strong progress toward ICE/CIWEM membership • Demonstrated experience managing civil engineering design teams and delivering projects on budget and schedule • Background in technical approval or checking of linear civil infrastructure or process design • Proven mentoring or coaching of junior engineers • Client‑facing experience with strong presentation, written and verbal communication
