About the Role
In this role you will oversee all phases of utility construction for telecom projects, lead multiple construction crews, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate schedules, manage subcontractors, interpret technical documents, and promote a safe work environment while providing exceptional customer service. • Provide high‑level customer service for escalated issues. • Direct multiple crews and oversee job‑site activities. • Review schedule progress against project deadlines. • Manage projects to completion on time and within budget. • Schedule crews, delegate tasks, and supervise work quality. • Participate in hiring and maintain employment paperwork. • Promote a safe work environment and hold crews accountable. • Prepare and interpret drawings, maps, blueprints, contracts and specifications. • Identify and resolve blueprint issues before and during construction. • Supervise subcontractors, inspect work, and handle billing. • Assume responsibility for all personnel, vehicles, and equipment under your control. • Attend meetings with senior operations management, peers, and customers. • Contribute to estimating, bidding, contract negotiations, and change‑order preparation. • Maintain a valid DOT or CDL card.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree—preferably in Construction Management—and brings 3‑5 years of telecom construction management experience. A solid safety record, hands‑on problem‑solving ability, and knowledge of coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, map reading, FTTP, RUS, HFC, and RDOF are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a valid DOT or CDL card are also required. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (preferred). • Possess 3–5 years of telecom construction project management experience. • Knowledge of coax splicing, fiber splicing, directional drilling, and map reading. • Experience with FTTP, RUS, HFC, and RDOF technologies. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and able to learn custom software.
