About the Role
The Architectural Inspector ensures contractor compliance with contract documents, coordinates daily with other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work, and processes inspection requests and technical submittals as directed by project leads. This role monitors architectural engineering aspects, reviews variations, and oversees safety and quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Accurate reporting, record‑keeping, and collaboration with contractors and clients are essential responsibilities. • Monitor architectural engineering aspects per inspection plan, drawings, codes, and specifications. • Liaise with senior architects, engineers, and managers to provide support and guidance. • Review and manage work variations to mitigate time and cost impacts. • Review contractor’s documents/shop drawings to identify and resolve issues affecting stability or function. • Ensure contractor compliance with approved Quality Control Plan. • Oversee inspection protocol setup and safety aspects of architectural installations. • Provide progress reports on architectural aspects of the project. • Expedite NOCs and client approvals when delays occur. • Maintain full site records, including daily diaries and monthly progress photography. • Conduct and evaluate tests confirming quality of architectural finishes and building components. • Perform field checks on placement, location, and quality of architectural finishes and structural components. • Coordinate with site team to meet contractual obligations. • Perform architectural and material inspections; issue NCRs and assist in corrective actions. • Ensure inspection reports are accurate and comply with requirements. • Prepare daily logs and maintain records of submittals, testing, and work executed. • Follow Contract Administration Procedures Manual and assist with inspection of completed works. • Monitor and report HSE matters; participate in HSE training and meetings.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least seven years of overall construction supervision experience, with a minimum of five years in the UAE, and a strong background in architectural projects of various types, including horizontal development, mixed‑use residential/commercial, retail, and hospitality. A solid understanding of basic design requirements, architectural methodologies, finishes, and building codes is required, alongside effective oral and written communication and report‑writing skills in clear English. Detailed knowledge of construction techniques is also essential. • Minimum 7 years overall experience in construction supervision (at least 5 years in the UAE). • Experience on architectural projects, including horizontal development, mixed‑use residential/commercial, retail, and hospitality. • Strong knowledge of basic design requirements, architectural methodologies, finishes, and building codes. • Effective oral and written communication skills; competent report writing in clear English. • Detailed knowledge of construction techniques.
