Job Highlights
About the Role
Key duties include enforcing safety policies, performing paving and milling in accordance with KYTC, county, city and commercial specifications, reading and interpreting plans, delivering projects on budget and schedule, managing materials, logistics and maintenance, coordinating with other foremen, plants, crews, subcontractors and vendors, ensuring daily maintenance and inspections, and submitting timecards and production reports. Nights and weekends may be required based on customer demand. • Enforce safety policies while delivering quality work daily • Perform asphalt paving, stone set‑up, and milling per KYTC, county, city, and commercial specifications • Read and interpret plans, application rates, grades, slopes, and drainage details • Complete projects on time and under budget by setting clear crew expectations • Manage material orders, logistics, equipment maintenance, and third‑party services • Coordinate shifts with other foremen, plants, crews, subcontractors, and vendors • Conduct daily equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and pre‑trip inspections • Submit electronic timecards and shift production reports with accurate quantities and cost codes

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least 2 + years of experience as a paving/milling foreman with strong communication and interpersonal skills, be self‑motivated, handle stressful situations, and possess proficiency with GPS grade and slope control, computer systems, and a valid driver’s license with a safe record. Knowledge of local customers, materials, and specifications is preferred. • Minimum 2 + years experience as paving/milling foreman with references • Strong communication, interpersonal, and self‑starter abilities • Proficient in GPS grade and slope control; competent with computer systems • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
