About the Role

The Machine Operator I is an entry‑level position that supports daily production by operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment under close supervision. The role involves loading programs, preparing machines, and performing basic maintenance to ensure consistent and efficient operation. By maintaining quality standards, minimizing downtime, and following established safety procedures, the operator contributes to AAON’s production goals. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn are essential for success. • Load production files and prepare machines per instructions. • Assist in setting up and adjusting equipment for daily runs. • Monitor machine performance and report issues to supervisors. • Perform basic visual inspections to ensure product quality and consistency. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment. • Replenish materials and consumables needed for machine operation. • Work collaboratively with other operators and team members to meet production targets. • Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment. • Document basic production data and support continuous improvement efforts. • Operate a computer, mouse, and basic input devices. • Respond to visual and auditory machine indicators. • Work indoors in a manufacturing setting.
