About the Role
Key duties include operating a large wheeled loader in the quarry pit to load haul trucks that feed the crusher, maintaining the production pace required for efficient truck loading, and, when needed, operating other heavy equipment such as dozers, track hoes, or skid steers under the direction of the plant manager or foreman. • Operate large wheeled loader (e.g., CAT 988, CAT 992, Komatsu WA500-8/WA600-8) to load haul trucks in the quarry pit. • Maintain production pace while loading trucks efficiently. • Occasionally operate additional heavy equipment (dozer, track hoe, skid steer) as directed. • Participate in 401(k) plan with company match after one year.

What You Bring
Rogers Group is currently hiring a Pit Loader Operator for its Gallatin Quarry near Gallatin, Tennessee. Candidates must have prior experience operating a large‑size wheeled loader such as a CAT 988, CAT 992, Komatsu WA500‑8, Komatsu WA600‑8, or a comparable machine. A strong, uncompromising commitment to safety excellence is essential. Applicants must have at least two years of experience with a large front‑end loader and preferably experience with a range of heavy equipment. The role requires a self‑motivated individual who can work independently, learn new tasks quickly, and be flexible to overtime and weekend work. Successful candidates must also pass a pre‑employment drug screen and provide valid I‑9 documentation. • Possess minimum two years experience on large front‑end loaders. • Prior experience with various heavy equipment is preferred. • Work independently with self‑motivation and minimal supervision. • Adapt quickly to new tasks and flexible to overtime/weekends. • Pass pre‑employment drug screening and provide I‑9 documentation.
