About the Role
The HVAC Installation Technician supports the installation of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The technician assists with equipment installation, jobsite preparation, and system setup while adhering to safety and quality standards. • Assist with installation of HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, thermostats). • Support senior technicians in jobsite setup, material handling, and equipment staging. • Follow installation plans, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures. • Perform measurements, cutting, and material assembly as directed. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Properly use, maintain, and care for tools, equipment, and company vehicles. • Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and HVAC best practices. • Communicate professionally with team members and customers. • Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures. • Work in varying weather conditions and jobsite environments. • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lb; stand, walk, kneel, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periods. • Operate and drive a vehicle safely.

What You Bring
No formal education is required, and candidates with 0–2 years of experience are welcomed. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and prior HVAC or construction experience is beneficial. The role demands the ability to lift up to 50 lb, work in various positions and confined spaces, and safely operate tools and equipment. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required. The position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and primarily requires English proficiency; Spanish language skills are considered an asset. • Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools. • Exhibit strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude. • Hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. • Work safely in confined spaces such as attics, basements, crawlspaces, and rooftops.
