About the Role

The Fire Officer role in Property and Asset Management, based in Hyderabad, is responsible for overseeing environmental health and safety at the site. You will operate fire‑suppression equipment, follow command‑structure directives, and manage emergency response activities. You will coordinate equipment set‑up, dispatch and accompany the Emergency Response Team, and lead fire and life‑safety evacuation drills and trainings for occupants. Your duties also include conducting rescue, firefighting and salvage operations, securing structures to prevent rekindling, and maintaining detailed incident and equipment records. • Oversee environmental health and safety at the Hyderabad site. • Operate fire‑suppression apparatus following command‑structure instructions. • Set up fire‑fighting equipment upon arrival at a fire scene. • Dispatch and accompany the Emergency Response Team. • Plan and conduct fire and life‑safety evacuation drills and trainings. • Perform rescue, firefighting and salvage operations during incidents. • Determine trapped individuals and execute appropriate rescue actions. • Conduct periodic lift evacuation and rescue drills. • Secure affected structures to prevent rekindling. • Inventory equipment after suppression and complete incident reports. • Participate in pre‑fire planning studies and maintain updated fire plans. • Liaise with government authorities for renewal of NOCs. • Maintain fire equipment maintenance logs and training records. • Report all site incidents to the Property Manager. • Analyze fire‑life safety systems to ensure effectiveness and determine equipment requirements.

What You Bring

The position reports to the Property Manager and requires an analytical, meticulous approach to ensure fire‑life safety systems function effectively and to determine appropriate equipment needs. Candidates should hold a Diploma or Degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety and possess three to five years of relevant experience, including knowledge of modern fire‑suppression techniques and emergency medical service principles. • Hold a Diploma or Degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety. • Possess 3–5 years of relevant fire safety or firefighting experience. • Knowledge of current fire suppression techniques and emergency medical services principles.
