About the Role
The Sales Manager plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates the sales function for an assigned division to execute sales strategies that maximize volume, drive profitable growth, and develop the sales staff. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive business, sales, and marketing plans aligned with the unit’s operating plan, creating sales forecasts, and maintaining accountability for achieving sales goals and key metrics. The manager leads a team of sales and administrative personnel, handling hiring, training, performance coaching, and conducts weekly ride‑alongs for on‑the‑job training. They also assist with new customer solicitation, bid preparation, and customer retention strategies. Regular meetings with sales staff review the activity funnel in the CRM, customer retention, performance versus goals, production, and training needs. The manager proactively contacts assigned accounts to identify needs, resolve issues, and works with business unit leadership on pricing strategies. Maintaining awareness of market behavior and competitive trends, the manager manages the customer base, possesses thorough knowledge of company services, pricing structures, and ensures timely completion of sales reports and review of customer service agreements.

What You Bring
Qualifications include a minimum of five years supervising or managing sales personnel, experience developing comprehensive sales strategies, strong communication and active‑listening skills, and the ability to identify information, solve problems logically, and maintain a positive, self‑motivated work ethic. Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of progressive sales experience with peer leadership or supervision, and a valid driver’s license.

The position offers a pay range of $89,800 to $123,550, with an annual incentive target of 25% of total compensation.
