About the Role
The incumbent will drive market development, strategic sales, solution positioning, customer engagement and order conversion across utilities, EPCs, industries, infrastructure, renewable energy, MMM and data centre segments. Acting as a solution evangelist, they will bridge customer requirements with engineering, delivery and product teams to secure profitable business. • Own sales growth and order booking for SAS, EMCS, PMS, EMS, CRP, industrial automation and power quality digital solutions in assigned segments and geographies. • Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities with utilities, EPCs, industries, infrastructure developers, renewable energy players and large campuses. • Drive account planning, opportunity mapping, pipeline development and long‑term engagement strategies for key customers. • Achieve annual and quarterly sales targets, order intake and margin objectives while monitoring market trends and competitor offerings. • Lead techno‑commercial solutioning and pre‑sales activities, translating customer requirements into value‑driven proposals and participating in technical discussions, pre‑bid meetings and negotiations. • Serve as primary customer interface during pre‑order and pursuit stages, delivering solution presentations, demos and workshops, and supporting contract finalisation and order closure. • Maintain expertise in substation automation, PLC/RTU/IED/SCADA/HMI architectures, communication protocols (IEC 61850, IEC 101/103/104, Modbus TCP/IP, DNP3, OPC, MQTT), network architectures (HSR, PRP, RSTP) and cybersecurity (IEC 62443, IEC 62351). • Coordinate with sales, engineering, execution, product management, SCM and finance teams to ensure bid accuracy, delivery feasibility and compliance with internal approvals and pricing guidelines. • Provide sales forecasts, pipeline reviews, win/loss analysis and management reporting; support new solution launches and partner engagement initiatives. • Travel up to 50‑60 % for customer meetings, presentations, bid discussions and industry events.
