About the Role

The Sales Manager leads the sales function for an assigned division, planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating activities to execute sales strategies that maximize volume, drive profitable growth, and develop the sales staff. This role focuses on achieving sales targets while ensuring professional development of team members. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing business, sales, and marketing strategies that align with the unit’s operating plan, creating accurate sales forecasts, and holding accountability for meeting sales goals and key metrics. The manager directs a team of sales and administrative staff, handling hiring, training, performance coaching, and conducting weekly ride‑alongs for on‑the‑job training. Additional duties involve supporting new customer solicitation, bid preparation, customer retention, reviewing CRM pipelines, pricing strategy, market trend analysis, and ensuring timely completion of sales reports and contract reviews.
