About the Role

The Road Mechanic position is responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment, primarily aerial work platforms and general construction tools, with some locations featuring large generators, pumps, HVAC and oil & gas machinery. The role focuses on performing work safely and efficiently to minimize equipment downtime, often in remote or challenging environments. • Work on a variety of makes, models and equipment in challenging remote locations • Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management • Perform preventive maintenance on aerial work platforms and construction equipment • Diagnose equipment issues and execute effective repairs • Adhere to safety protocols to minimize equipment downtime

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, with trade school education being a plus, and possess three to five years of experience servicing diesel, heavy construction, or specialty line equipment. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required, and some sites may need a CDL or a minimum age of 21. Key abilities include knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, the capacity to troubleshoot those systems, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
