About the Role
Engineers are expected to act responsibly, adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies, and take on additional responsibilities as business needs dictate. • Perform structural design of new buildings and restoration of existing structures across the United States. • Analyze and design superstructures and foundations in timber, concrete, steel, and masonry. • Utilize latest digital design tools and Building Information Modeling software such as Autodesk Revit. • Complete training on assigned tasks and adhere to safety, health, and harassment policies.

What You Bring
WSP is initiating a search for an Early Career Structural Engineer to work from its Boston, MA or North Providence, RI office, joining a growing organization that addresses client objectives and challenges. The successful candidate will receive advanced training in structural and digital design technology and will collaborate with colleagues worldwide through practice area networks and learning forums. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering (or a closely related discipline) and have limited post‑education experience, demonstrating strong research, analytical, and communication abilities. • Possess 0–1 years of relevant post‑education experience; 0–3 years of internship experience is preferred. • Demonstrate competence with design/build concepts and familiarity with relevant construction laws, codes, and record‑keeping practices. • Exhibit self‑leadership, attention to detail, multitasking, and the ability to work independently or within a team. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Preferred qualifications: recent (May 2026) graduate or master’s degree in structural engineering; experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
