About the Role
You will conduct marketing tours, open and prepare viewing apartments, and ensure model homes and community amenities are clean and rent‑ready. Promptly respond to resident and prospect calls and emails, convert calls into walk‑in traffic, and schedule appointments. Tours are delivered with energy following the Weidner approach, and you will facilitate the application process, review and process applications immediately, and communicate results respectfully. Additional duties include following the Weidner Move‑In Experience, maintaining a traffic queue, scouting competitive properties monthly, adhering to daily marketing and leasing strategies, and assisting with lease renewals to promote resident retention. • Conduct marketing tours and prepare target units for viewing. • Ensure apartments and community amenities are clean and rent‑ready. • Respond promptly to resident and prospect calls and emails. • Convert phone inquiries into walk‑in traffic and schedule appointments. • Tour prospective residents with energy following the Weidner approach. • Facilitate and process applications immediately after tours. • Maintain a traffic queue and monitor competitive properties monthly. • Execute daily marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy goals. • Assist with lease renewals to promote resident retention. • Provide prior customer‑service experience in a fast‑paced environment. • Adhere to Weidner’s mission, policies, Fair Housing laws, and professional standards. • Maintain reliable personal transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.

What You Bring
The Leasing Consultant position is located in Edmonton, AB, full‑time, in the Leasing category for the Cambridge West property. As a dynamic professional, you will relate and communicate effectively with prospective and current residents, creating lasting positive impressions with a warm, energetic personality. The role coordinates marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to meet occupancy and revenue retention goals. Success in this position requires strong time management, attention to detail, teamwork, accountability, and excellent customer service when interacting with residents, associates, and vendors. The ideal candidate has prior customer‑service experience and can complete tasks safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills are required across in‑person, phone, email, and text, and proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred; experience with Yardi or Paycom is a plus. Candidates must commit to Weidner’s mission, vision, values, policies, Fair Housing laws, maintain regular attendance, dress code, and professional appearance.
