Senior Safety Compliance Manager
Develop and manage safety training programs and compliance for solar projects.

About the Role
• Provide comprehensive support for safety training initiatives, including coordination of training sessions, management of training materials, and tracking of training completion. • Conduct regular audits of training records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Execute additional responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Health and Safety. • Design and coordinate the safety assurance program. • Proactively communicate with field personnel to address any training-related issues or concerns. • Assist in developing, reviewing, and approving safety processes, including support for process mapping, and developing Standard Operating procedures. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, trends, and best practices in safety training. • Development and implementation of safety training programs, including curriculums, syllabus, evaluation criteria, training satisfaction surveys and other training initiatives. • Carry Weight: infrequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 10 pounds • Work in tandem with the operations teams to identify areas for enhancement in safety training processes and procedures. • Manage the training calendar and ensure timely completion of all required training. • Develop and implement the Qualified Electrical Worker Program for the organization.

What You Bring
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in training and field compliance. • Willingness to travel occasionally as required. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred. • Hearing and Speech: frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with employees, coworkers, and all personnel matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations • Noise level ranges from low to moderate (if in office setting) • Strong understanding of Electrical Safety Standards (OHSA, NFPA 70E) • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. • Sight: frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, and office objects near and far • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Strong understanding of training and compliance process and procedures. • Proficiency in training databases such as Avetta, ISNetworld, Heatspring, etc. • Knowledge of project management principles and practices is a plus. • Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position • Stationary Position: frequently remains stationary up to 90% of the time and sitting up to 8 hours in a day • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within project teams. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and other software applications. • Fluent in written and spoken English. • Travel: up to 50% as needed • Strong understanding of developing and writing Standard Operating Procedures. • Noise level ranges from moderate to high (if on construction worksite)
