About the Role

The Associate Director – Structures will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise for structural engineering projects across the Middle East, overseeing production activities, ensuring technical excellence, and managing senior stakeholder relationships. The candidate must demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature judgment while delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects. • Oversee and coordinate engineering production activities for the operating unit. • Make decisions and provide recommendations recognized by authorities and clients. • Initiate and maintain senior‑level stakeholder relationships; resolve disputes and negotiate critical issues. • Lead multidisciplinary teams to meet project delivery requirements and goals. • Anticipate and solve routine and unusual operational problems, defining objectives for diverse engineering tasks. • Develop standards, guides, and program organization to ensure high‑quality technical excellence. • Provide broad administrative supervision while operating under general objectives. • Train and mentor junior staff through technical training programs. • Manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.

What You Bring

The role requires a Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and a chartered professional certification (CEng, PE, etc.). Minimum 15 years of structural engineering experience, including leadership roles and proven delivery of major Middle East projects, is required. Strong communication, strategic oversight, accountability and the ability to work under pressure are essential. • Confident decision‑maker with strong negotiation and dispute‑resolution skills. • Familiarity with advanced structural analysis tools and BIM workflows.
