Primary duties include developing and maintaining the master production schedule to meet customer requirements and internal goals by analyzing demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints. The planner works closely with procurement, engineering, operations, and sales to ensure alignment, monitors performance metrics, and adjusts schedules in response to demand changes or supply disruptions. Additional responsibilities involve creating a rolling production schedule, coordinating material availability, resolving scheduling conflicts, monitoring production progress, supporting new product introductions, using ERP and planning systems, driving continuous‑improvement initiatives, and communicating updates to stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include APICS CPIM or CSCP certification and a Master’s degree in Operations or a related discipline. Key knowledge, skills, and abilities include a strong understanding of manufacturing planning, scheduling, and inventory control principles, proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel, and the ability to analyze complex data sets. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, time‑management, communication, and collaboration skills, along with knowledge of HVAC manufacturing processes, product lifecycle, and lean continuous‑improvement methodologies.
