About the Role

In this design role, you will create basic designs under senior guidance, develop specifications, system narratives, and layout drawings for projects of varying scale, and begin establishing system applications, design parameters, and operational sequences. You will also oversee QA/QC for your work and that of others, assist with project scheduling, manpower planning, and budgeting, and perform construction administration and field investigations, including inspections and detailed reports. Additionally, you will process RFIs, change orders, bulletins, and addenda. • Create basic designs under senior engineer direction • Develop specifications, system narratives, and layouts for varied project sizes • Establish system application, design parameters, and operational sequences • Oversee QA/QC for own work and that of others • Assist with project scheduling, manpower planning, and budgeting • Perform construction administration and field investigations, including inspections and reports • Process RFIs, change orders, bulletins, and addenda • Apply basic LEED principles to building designs

What You Bring

Successful candidates must be proficient in Revit for system layout and spatial coordination and have a basic understanding of LEED principles. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of consulting experience, EIT/FE certification, and preferably a current PE license and LEED AP credential. Experience with federal, healthcare, commercial, and mission‑critical projects, along with expertise in Revit, the latest AutoCAD MEP, and design/calculation software, is essential. • Use Revit for system layout and spatial coordination of detailed drawings • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution • Possess 7+ years of consulting firm experience • Maintain EIT/FE certification; PE registration preferred • Earn LEED AP credential (highly preferred) • Experience with federal, healthcare, commercial, and mission‑critical projects • Proficient with Revit, latest AutoCAD MEP, and design/calculation software
