About the Role

The Warehouse Associate supports warehouse operations by loading, unloading, order picking, shipping, and material handling. This role ensures products are accurately prepared for pickup or delivery, secured for transport, and handled safely, efficiently, and dependably. The role follows clearly prescribed processes and seeks supervisor guidance for non‑routine issues. Decisions are reviewed by senior staff, and deviations require supervisor approval. Work is performed under close supervision with limited independent judgment. • Load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and yard. • Package items for shipment or pickup using shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods. • Verify product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping. • Install protective devices such as bracing or padding to prevent damage during transport. • Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. • Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with safety policies and procedures. • Assist customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders or locating materials. • Drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed.

What You Bring

The work environment is a comfortable warehouse setting but includes exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes. Associates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements such as bending or squatting. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and candidates should have 0‑2 years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include forklift operation, basic knowledge of shipping and receiving, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to work in a fast‑paced team.
