About the Role
To meet growing structural needs in the TMT market, HDR seeks a Structural BIM Coordinator in the downtown Chicago office. The role will also develop the CAD bench, mentoring and coaching drafting and design staff to enhance their capabilities. • Work under the direct supervision of an engineer for a specific discipline. • Assist in developing the discipline model from digital design, architectural, or engineering staff. • Create BIM elements, systems, content, and deliver digital outputs for the discipline. • Model BIM elements accurately using current 3D software and maintain model integrity (coordinates, scales, orientations, etc.). • Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams using 3D software. • Produce discipline‑specific documentation with accurate annotations.

What You Bring
• Minimum of 2 years of 3D modeling experience with reputable firms. • Proficient in 3D design software, document management infrastructure, and Microsoft Office. • Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. • Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
