About the Role
In this senior leadership role you will guide multidisciplinary environmental teams and shape complex, transformative environmental programs across Ontario and beyond. Your deep expertise and strategic vision will drive excellence in environmental assessment, remediation, risk assessment, client strategy, and market growth. • Provide strategic technical leadership for environmental site assessment, remediation, and risk assessment programs. • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex, high‑impact environmental projects. • Mentor and develop talent, strengthening succession planning and technical excellence. • Advise executive leadership, partners, and clients on environmental risk, regulations, and emerging contaminants. • Champion innovation by advancing new methodologies, standards, and best practices. • Increase WSP visibility through industry association participation and conference speaking. • Drive business growth via seller‑doer leadership, proposal oversight, and pipeline forecasting. • Strengthen cross‑sector collaboration to expand service offerings across geographies. • Support risk management on major pursuits, including contract review and commercial strategy.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Geo‑Environmental Science, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering. • Be a registered P.Geo. or P.Eng. in Ontario and a Qualified Person under O.Reg. 153/04. • Possess 15‑20+ years progressive experience in environmental engineering or geoscience, with senior oversight of multi‑disciplinary projects in Ontario and Atlantic Canada. • Demonstrate advanced expertise in site assessment, contaminated sites, remediation, risk assessment, excess soils, and emerging contaminants. • Have a proven reputation as a senior reviewer and technical authority on complex project files. • Exhibit a track record as a seller‑doer building long‑term client relationships and delivering business growth. • Maintain a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Compensation varies by region, with salary ranges from $143,900 to $211,000, subject to factors such as education, experience, and location.
