About the Role
A General Laborer/Fabricator at our Wausau location handles grinding, drilling, shop clean‑up and miscellaneous tasks, meeting production demands promptly and delivering top‑quality work. • Operate hand and power tools, such as grinders and sanders • Assist with setup and operation of equipment to fabricate material per job specifications • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and disposal of materials • Use proper safety equipment to ensure surfaces are adequately prepared for all operations • Coordinate with shop supervisor and personnel to complete work orders efficiently, on time, and with top‑notch quality • Push or move objects up to 50 lb of force • Pull up to 122 lb of force • Stand, walk, stoop, and kneel as required

What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED • Quality, accuracy, thoroughness, and reliability of work performed • Lift 40 lb and carry 30 lb • Maintain good range of motion when reaching forward, overhead, and bending • Use agile fingers and thumbs on both hands • Work performed indoors in a large warehouse or outdoors in all weather conditions • Regular exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel, and other possible hazardous conditions • Safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel‑toed boots are required

Benefits
Veritas Steel is hiring General Laborers and Fabricators with a training wage of $23.67.
