About the Role

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports a variety of engineering and production activities including equipment set‑up and validation of new equipment, development and implementation of process improvements, process troubleshooting, monitoring of process data, assistance with creating and updating of process documentation, prototype execution, and assistance with preparation for new product introductions. The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for completing all the assigned work according to specifications in a high quality, safe and timely manner. They must be knowledgeable in the project process flow, working with the engineering department during project planning and execution. • Must follow safety guidelines and meet our requirements. • Identifies potential areas of product improvement; recommends and assists with development of appropriate solutions to improve site productivity. • Assists engineers in the development of new methods to improve product quality and process efficacy and efficiency. • Ensures compliance with applicable company and client quality requirements in all assigned programs, functions, products, and areas. • Collects and enters test results into electronic media, spreadsheets, databases, etc. • Identifies and reports problems with specific processes or products to engineers. • Conducts complex layout drafting.

What You Bring

• Associates degree or a minimum of 2 years experience in a technical manufacturing role. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Ability to work in a team environment which requires cooperating with all departments, offering help when needed, and maintaining positive work relationships. • SAP experience desired (BOMs, Routers, Work Orders, Costing). • Basic understanding and ability to follow quality requirements. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, computer‑aided design (CAD) or related software. • Capability to use software such as Tulip for work instruction development. • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Prolonged periods standing collecting data in a manufacturing environment. • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times. • Must be able to travel to various job sites and traverse locations to obtain necessary data.
