About the Role
We are seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead a team of Inside Sales Specialists and Consultants, driving profitable growth by increasing service revenue and generating new leads while aligning with Johnson Controls’ strategic goals. The role involves coaching the sales team, ensuring timely proposal generation, maintaining accurate product and solution data, and collaborating with field sales and service teams to meet KPIs. • Lead sales activities and achieve KPIs by coaching team members on prioritization and customer engagement • Conduct 1:1 coaching and side‑by‑side sessions to ensure 100 % team coverage each month • Ensure on‑time proposal generation and renewal of PSA contracts, coordinating with field sales and service teams • Maintain accurate installed‑base data for controls, fire, security, HVAC, and technology solutions in the region • Act as escalation point and model effective selling behaviors while fostering a customer‑centric culture • Identify functional improvement and productivity opportunities through cross‑regional collaboration • Develop forecasts and clearly communicate business strategies to the team • Host daily stand‑ups to track KPIs, share best practices, and keep the team on track • Provide constructive feedback by shadowing inside‑sales reps and lead training sessions • Build strong relationships with local and national sales and service teams • Promote a performance‑driven culture through recognition, initiatives, and accountability

What You Bring
Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, have proven experience leading inside‑sales teams in relevant product areas, possess strong communication, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills, and can manage a $5 M+ sales pipeline. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field • Proven experience leading inside‑sales teams, preferably with controls, fire, security, HVAC, or software products • Strong understanding of inside‑sales concepts and processes • Excellent written and spoken English for business communication • Ability to manage an annual sales pipeline of $5 M + • Demonstrated coaching and motivation skills • Strong problem‑solving and negotiation abilities • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
