About the Role

Key duties include leading, scheduling, and coordinating construction work; planning subcontractor methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and temporary power; maintaining liaison with engineering, estimating, and government representatives; and monitoring compliance with safety and quality programs. The Superintendent will also develop and track execution schedules, produce weekly look‑ahead plans, identify delays, and implement mitigation measures. • Lead and supervise craft subcontractors and onsite employees. • Create, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules and look‑ahead plans. • Coordinate construction methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and temporary power. • Liaise with engineering, estimating, and government officials to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. • Identify and resolve productivity issues, drawing conflicts, and site condition challenges. • Monitor and enforce safety and quality control requirements; document corrective actions. • Develop and track project execution schedules, site logistics, and procedural standards. • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly schedule progress reports and mitigation strategies.

What You Bring

Candidates must have ten or more years of superintendent experience on medium‑size projects exceeding $25 million, with at least five years in a leadership role. Required knowledge includes U.S. construction methods, building construction expertise, and a completed OSHA 30‑hour construction certification. U.S. citizenship is mandatory; experience with Federal Government clients, NPS/USACE, underground utilities, and various trade specialties is preferred. • Possess 10+ years superintendent experience on projects >$25M and 5+ years in leadership. • Hold U.S. citizenship and completed OSHA 30‑hour construction certification.
