Production Associate - Transformers

About the Role

Manufacturing Production Workers are responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment used in machining, processing, assembly, or packaging. Tasks include running machine tools and chemical processing lines, moving and packing raw materials or finished goods, and monitoring output quality to identify defective products. In this role you will operate machines that manufacture transformer bushings, perform regular inspections and quality checks, and report any deviations. You must follow safety protocols, adhere to standard operating procedures, and carry out autonomous maintenance while coordinating with the maintenance team for preventive work. Accurate daily production records are required, documenting machine settings, outputs, and issues to support performance analysis and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with other team members and departments is essential to meet production targets and maintain a harmonious work environment. • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot machining, processing, assembly, or packaging equipment. • Move, pack, and sort raw materials and finished goods. • Perform quality inspections and report defective products. • Operate transformer‑bushing production machines, including setup and calibration. • Conduct regular safety checks and follow all safety protocols. • Follow SOPs and work instructions to ensure consistent production. • Perform autonomous maintenance and coordinate preventive maintenance with the maintenance team. • Record daily production data, machine settings, output, and issues for analysis. • Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve production targets.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a diploma or equivalent, with a technical certification in machine operation preferred, and have at least two years of relevant experience, preferably in the transformer bushing industry. Required skills include machine operation and maintenance, quality‑control knowledge, safety‑regulation awareness, ability to read technical documents, strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and proficiency in spoken and written English. • Hold a diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machine operation preferred. • Minimum two years of machine‑operator experience, preferably in transformer bushing manufacturing. • Proficient in operating and maintaining manufacturing machinery and applying quality‑control principles. • Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints. • Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and fluent English communication. • Ability to obtain reasonable accommodation for disability‑related needs if required.
