About the Role
The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for checking off and putting away parts within the Goods In function as well as accurately picking and packing parts. You will contribute to departmental OKRs by ensuring high accuracy when checking in, storing, picking and packing customer orders in a timely manner. As a Warehouse Operative, you will follow onsite health and safety rules and report all EHS hazards and incidents. You will also report any quality issues at the earliest point in the process. When needed, you may help other functions within the wider logistics team and will report directly to the Warehouse Manager. • Check in and put away incoming parts accurately. • Pick and pack customer orders with high accuracy and timeliness. • Follow health, safety and environmental procedures and report hazards. • Report quality issues promptly. • Assist other logistics functions as needed, reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

What You Bring
Essential criteria include previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. Desirable criteria include training and experience in safe operation of forklifts, pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment, experience using barcode or handheld scanner devices, familiarity with an ERP system and experience in cycle counting or stock checking.
