About the Role
We are seeking several Project Managers to join our Environmental Project Management Team, reporting to a Senior Environmental Project Manager. In this role you will help deliver a wide range of environmentally focused projects across the UK for both public‑ and private‑sector clients, supporting everything from early business case development to design and construction. • Lead smaller environmental projects and support senior managers on larger programmes • Develop project proposals, defining scope, resources, schedule and cost estimates • Create and maintain project documentation such as plans, risk registers, schedules and stakeholder registers • Monitor and control project schedules, budgets, staff hours and expenditures • Secure health and safety information and approvals for site visits • Manage contracts and contract administration, ensuring compliance with scope agreements • Actively manage project changes and risks while maintaining governance standards • Lead, mentor and develop multidisciplinary environmental project teams and suppliers • Promote delivery of environmental betterment and net‑zero strategies • Represent the Environment and Consents discipline with clients, stakeholders and internal WSP teams

What You Bring
• Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager, preferably in environment or sustainability • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder alignment • Knowledge of programme management, WBS, dependencies, critical path and tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6 • Strong commercial and contractual awareness with financial acumen and change‑control experience • Experience with Professional Services contracts (e.g., NEC3/4) advantageous • Membership of a relevant professional body (PMI, APM, MIEnvSc, MIEMA, MRICS) and progression toward chartership
