About the Role

The role will involve leading the design and delivery of HV/LV electrical systems for substations, producing and reviewing detailed design packages, and preparing calculations, specifications, and reports. You will provide technical leadership to junior engineers, ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, and collaborate closely with protection, civil, and structural teams. We seek an experienced electrical engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and strong experience in HV/MV/LV substation design. Proficiency with industry design tools and standards, experience in utility or large infrastructure projects, and excellent communication and documentation skills are required. The ideal candidate works effectively in multidisciplinary teams, demonstrates a commitment to safety, quality, and engineering excellence, and is chartered (CPEng) or actively working toward chartership. • Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). • Strong experience in HV/MV/LV substation design. • Proficiency with industry design tools and standards. • Experience in utility, transmission, or large infrastructure projects. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. • Chartership (CPEng) highly regarded or actively pursued.
