Consultant Project Manager - Construction

About the Role

In this role you will steer projects from conception through delivery, establishing success criteria, overseeing governance, planning, procurement and cross‑functional team coordination, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, health and environmental performance. • Lead end‑to‑end project‑management commissions, delivering services up to £40 m (larger for advisory projects). • Serve as the primary day‑to‑day client liaison, ensuring objectives, timelines, budgets and quality standards are met. • Provide strategic advice at project conception and define success criteria for time, cost, technical and performance parameters. • Develop detailed project plans, governance processes and controls for quality, safety, health and the environment. • Oversee procurement of resources and manage cross‑functional project teams. • Apply performance‑management techniques and KPIs to improve project outcomes. • Manage change‑control processes and monitor project finances. • Coordinate information flow between the project team and client through regular meetings and written reports.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is degree‑qualified in a relevant discipline (desirable) and has proven experience managing construction or refurbishment projects, ideally within a consultancy environment (essential).
