About the Role
In this role you will manage the operational delivery of Riverina Redevelopment Programme projects, ensuring Zero‑Harm, cost and quality targets are met. You will help create project budgets and plans, monitor business performance, and recommend improvements. You will also assist with contract planning, resource allocation, review contract documents and drawings, and assess risks and opportunities. • Manage operational delivery of Riverina Redevelopment Programme projects while maintaining Zero‑Harm, cost, and quality. • Prepare and maintain project budgets and plans in line with business unit requirements. • Monitor business performance and recommend improvements or growth initiatives. • Assist with contract planning, resource allocation, and management of required resources. • Review contract documents and drawings before work commences. • Identify and evaluate project risks and opportunities. • Offer relocation packages for site‑based role at RAAF Base Wagga. • Provide training and development opportunities with a high internal promotion rate. • Promote a diverse, inclusive workplace and support flexible work arrangements as a WORK180 Endorsed Employer.

What You Bring
We are hiring a Project Engineer with a building services background to support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), a 50/50 partnership between Downer and CPB Contractors that will upgrade and replace infrastructure across the Albury‑Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) and RAAF Base Wagga. Candidates must hold an NV1 security clearance and be prepared for a site‑based role at RAAF Base Wagga, with relocation packages available. The successful candidate will hold an engineering or project‑management degree and have proven experience delivering medium‑to‑large complex construction projects. Demonstrated capabilities in business or project management at a comparable level, along with experience preparing and managing operational budgets and analysing financial data, are required. A strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to high‑quality outcomes are essential. • Hold an Engineering or Project Management degree with relevant industry experience. • Proven experience delivering medium‑to‑large complex construction projects. • Demonstrated capability in business or project management at a comparable level. • Experience preparing and managing operational budgets and reviewing financial information. • Possess NV1 security clearance.
