About the Role

The incumbent will project‑manage the daily operations of one or more supply‑chain projects, coordinating product selection, deliveries, and subcontractor installations with internal SourceBlue teams. Responsibilities include collaborating with business development, pre‑construction, and national supply‑chain groups to develop scopes, bid packages, and vendor contracts while ensuring compliance with purchasing policies. • Lead daily operations of SourceBlue supply chain projects, coordinating product selection, deliveries, and subcontractor installations. • Engage with Business Development and project leadership to secure new business opportunities and support technical sales efforts. • Partner with preconstruction teams to assess logistics, develop scopes of work, and create bid packages for vendors. • Evaluate vendor bids, negotiate contracts, and manage the award process and vendor communications. • Maintain purchasing and submittal logs, oversee vendor submittals, factory testing, product delivery, start‑up, training, warranties, and documentation. • Manage project budgets, financial reporting, and payment applications, escalating variances as needed. • Ensure compliance with purchasing, risk management policies, and safety regulations.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate brings an electrical or mechanical background within the construction industry, having supported MEP scopes and collaborated closely with engineering, project, and field teams. The role requires regular travel and the ability to work on active construction sites, which involves climbing stairs and ladders, handling equipment up to 25‑50 lb, and adapting to varied environmental conditions such as noise, weather, and potential hazards. Employees must also be able to work in office or remote settings and adhere to company safety policies. • Minimum 8 years commercial construction experience with electrical/mechanical expertise; Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or related field preferred. • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, project management, and presentation skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaborative tools; able to travel regularly and meet physical demands of construction sites.
