About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Digital Commerce Analytics, the associate director will drive insights and strategic projects that accelerate growth of the North America omnichannel business and expand digital commerce capabilities. The position partners closely with Sales, Brand Management, Digital Commerce, and Marketing, and oversees a small team of one to two analysts. Key responsibilities include independently leading analyses to uncover acceleration opportunities across assortment, pricing, retail media, digital shelf, ratings, reviews, and competitive activity. The leader will define business problems, scope projects, devise analytical approaches, and use data‑driven storytelling to influence outcomes across the organization. The role also maps existing analytics opportunities, establishes performance standards, and manages relationships with senior analytics stakeholders, retail‑media networks, technology vendors, and consulting partners. Monitoring external trends and evaluating tech‑stack options are essential to maintain best‑in‑class capabilities. • Lead analyses to identify digital growth opportunities across categories, pricing, retail media, and competitor insights. • Define business problems, scope projects, and develop analytical approaches, influencing stakeholders with data-driven insights. • Map and develop digital commerce analytics capabilities, set performance standards, and manage relationships with analytics vendors and retail media partners. • Partner with cross‑functional teams (Brand, Digital Commerce, Category Management, RGM) to execute analytics strategy and drive omnichannel growth. • Provide thought leadership in CPG/eCommerce, including knowledge of retail media networks, KPIs, and technology landscape. • Manage a small team (1‑2) and coordinate complex projects, timelines, and budgets.

What You Bring
Collaboration with cross‑functional teams—such as Data & Analytics Product Management, Brand Teams, Category Management, RGM, and external partners—is critical to execute the analytics strategy and drive omnichannel growth. Deep expertise in CPG, eCommerce operations, KPIs, and the retail‑media landscape underpins these efforts. The associate director must lead complex projects, manage resources and risks, and embed change across the organization. Strong executive presence, written and verbal communication, stakeholder influence, and business judgment are required to align interests and deliver results. Candidates should hold an MBA (preferred) and have at least seven years of experience in strategy consulting, business analysis, or functional roles in strategy, marketing, finance, operations, or sales analytics, with a strong eCommerce focus. Three or more years of experience at a top‑tier consulting firm (Bain, BCG, McKinsey) or comparable environment, plus CPG or retail industry exposure, are highly valued. • Required: MBA (preferred), 7+ years strategy/analytics experience (including eCommerce), 3+ years consulting at top firm, CPG or retail background.
