About the Role

The sales professional will prospect, develop relationships with customers, and acquire new business for power, gas, and alternative‑energy products. Success in this role depends on understanding client objectives, risk tolerances, and delivering tailored energy solutions that drive revenue and support a carbon‑free future. • Cultivate relationships with Fortune 500 customers and develop tailored energy plans. • Present and close sales for power, gas, and alternative energy products (demand response, solar, efficiency). • Design energy hedging strategies aligned with client risk tolerances and business goals. • Drive sales to meet gross‑margin quotas and leverage core product expertise. • Identify and engage high‑level decision makers to generate new business. • Deliver presentations to groups and key stakeholders. • Attend in‑person training, all‑hands meetings, and other engagements.

What You Bring

• Travel up to 75% within the territory, including occasional overnight trips. • Hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 2–5 years of relevant sales experience. • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication and Microsoft Office proficiency. • Possess a broad network of contacts in the business, government, and public‑interest sectors (preferred). • Experience selling electric, nuclear, gas, demand‑response, solar, or energy‑efficiency solutions. • Proven ability to generate leads, meet sales metrics and KPIs, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
