About the Role
The Temporary Cleaner will report to the Custodial Manager or Supervisor at C&W Services and perform a range of custodial duties in accordance with the company’s standards and procedures. Key responsibilities include maintaining clean floors and surfaces throughout the building, caring for furniture and fixtures, cleaning interior and exterior glass, maintaining restrooms, managing waste, and performing periodic high‑dusting and specialty cleaning tasks such as leather polishing and wall washing. The role also involves monitoring for defects and reporting issues, as well as snow removal from entrances and walkways when directed. • Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other interior surfaces. • Operate commercial floor buffers, shampoo machines, and attachments. • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot‑clean and shampoo rugs as directed. • Dust and clean furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all horizontal surfaces, including periodic high dusting. • Wash interior windowsills, glass on doors, partitions, and specified windows; clean entrance door glass and trim. • Clean and maintain restrooms daily, restocking paper supplies and servicing soap and toilet‑paper dispensers. • Monitor and report defects such as clogged urinals or non‑functioning lights. • Collect building trash, replace liners, and place waste in approved containers for removal. • Sweep or shovel snow from steps, walkways, and connecting sidewalks as directed. • Perform periodic high‑dusting, leather and wood surface polishing, and wall washing. • Follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and collaborate as part of a team. • Use cleaning tools and equipment, including backpack‑style portable vacuums.

What You Bring
No prior cleaning experience is required, but the candidate must be able to follow direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively within a team. The ability to operate cleaning equipment, including backpack vacuums and floor buffers, along with strong attention to detail, organization, high energy, and endurance, is essential. • Demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, high energy, and endurance.

Benefits
Compensation for this position ranges from $23.80 to $28.00 per hour, and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include health, vision, dental, flexible spending and health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid or unpaid time off.
