About the Role
The Service Engineer role focuses on delivering exceptional service and support for our range of mineral processing and weighing equipment. Key duties include installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, process improvement, inspections, testing, problem identification, and root‑cause analysis. You will also support aftermarket technical support representatives and customer service teams, prepare scopes of work for ongoing maintenance, promote Sandvik products, and collaborate with sales and engineering to identify equipment design and process upgrade opportunities. • Install, commission, maintain, repair, and improve mineral processing and weighing equipment • Conduct inspections, testing, problem identification, and root‑cause analysis • Support aftermarket technical support representatives and customer service teams • Prepare scopes of work for ongoing customer maintenance • Promote Sandvik products and collaborate with sales and engineering on equipment design and process upgrades

Multiple roles are available across our service team. We require a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Ideal candidates are proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, technical reporting, and excel in customer relationship management. The role demands willingness to travel extensively, work weekends, respond to short‑notice site visits, and obtain mine site induction. The role is open to Australian and New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, and candidates who can obtain a valid working visa. A national police check and other security, medical, and character requirements may be required.
