About the Role

The incumbent performs full‑cycle accounting, analyzes accounts and transactions, and manages cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and reconciliations. They prioritize and organize a high‑volume workload across multiple clients while preparing comprehensive financial reporting packages accurately and on time in line with internal controls and client requirements. Support for internal and external audits is provided through timely delivery of required documentation and information. The role includes coaching and guiding accountants, leading team meetings, assisting with onboarding of new assignments, and taking lead responsibility on projects. • Perform full‑cycle accounting, including account analysis and transaction processing. • Manage cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and reconciliations. • Prepare timely, accurate financial reporting packages per internal controls and client requirements. • Research, analyze, and communicate complex accounting issues, escalating when needed. • Collaborate with clients and property management to address accounting matters promptly. • Apply accounting procedures, ensure accurate record preparation, and flag inconsistencies. • Maintain fixed‑asset ledgers, ensure proper capitalization, depreciation, and calculate straight‑line rent. • Provide documentation for internal and external audits and respond to audit inquiries. • Coach and mentor accounting staff, lead team meetings, and support onboarding for new assignments. • Assist with budgeting and general ledger maintenance for multiple clients.

What You Bring

The Senior Client Accountant is responsible for all phases of accounting using established principles, including financial reporting for clients, projects, or business units, analysis, budgeting assistance, and general ledger maintenance. The role also requires sound technical skills, solid judgment, and leadership within the accounting team. Research, analysis, and clear communication of complex accounting issues are essential, with appropriate escalation when needed. The accountant collaborates promptly with clients and property management, applies proper accounting procedures, and highlights inconsistencies, problems, and recommendations to management. They also maintain fixed‑asset ledgers, ensure correct capitalization and depreciation, and calculate straight‑line rent as per client preferences.

Benefits

Compensation for this position ranges from $57,800 to $68,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as health, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, and paid and unpaid time off.
