About the Role
• Set and execute strategic direction for cost, risk, and schedule management. • Approve project budgets and lead the budget approval process. • Facilitate risk workshops to identify, assess, and assign mitigation actions. • Lead cross‑functional project controls deliverables and reporting. • Guide and motivate the controls team, running weekly progress meetings. • Produce regular performance reports and documentation for gateways. • Review master schedules, critical paths, and interface milestones. • Develop and approve project cash‑flow, financial plans, and change‑impact strategies. • Oversee risk management, Monte Carlo analyses, and mitigation processes. • Manage estimating, total cost of ownership, and contingency methodologies. • Establish controls, metrics, and protocols for diversity compliance and cost‑reduction initiatives. • Lead project intake, ensuring robust business cases and an end‑to‑end controls process.

What You Bring
Turner & Townsend is looking for an experienced Director – Project Controls Management to lead project‑controls services for major client accounts. The role involves steering cost, risk and schedule management, overseeing budgets, and supporting broader business initiatives. • Bachelor’s (or graduate) degree in construction, cost management, engineering or a related field. • 12+ years of project controls experience; 2+ years leading high‑performing teams. • Proven expertise in scheduling, cost control, estimating and risk management for capital projects. • Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project and advanced Excel for data analysis. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills. • Knowledge of contract delivery methods, regulatory standards and SOX controls.
