About the Role

The Associate Photographer role supports Homes.com and Apartments.com by creating 3‑D virtual tours, floor plans, and marketing photography for residential properties. Photographers work within a designated territory, using Matterport Pro3 cameras, digital cameras, and iPads, and are managed remotely by a local Photography Manager. The position requires collaboration with clients, sales, logistics, and the management team to schedule and complete assignments. The job involves up to eight hours of sitting, standing, and walking each day, with frequent lifting of equipment up to five pounds and repetitive hand motions for operating camera gear and tablets. Employees must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be available on a rotating weekend schedule. • Capture 3‑D virtual tours and footprints for Homes.com and Apartments.com. • Create photo portfolios that showcase homes and apartments effectively. • Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to optimize appointments. • Survey one‑mile square grids to identify and photograph commercial properties. • Follow CoStar safety standards to protect vehicle and equipment. • Represent CoStar professionally at all times. • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

What You Bring

Candidates need at least two years of professional experience, preferably in real‑estate photography, and must hold a recent photography degree or professional portfolio. A drone‑photography FAA Part 107 license, strong time‑management and detail‑orientation, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Microsoft Office are required. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are also mandatory. • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management. • Minimum 2 years of professional experience, including real‑estate photography. • Photographer or photography degree; drone photographer with FAA Part 107 license. • Strong time‑management, detail‑orientation, and accurate data entry. • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational abilities. • Proficient with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications. • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment; field experience preferred. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
