About the Role
Public Storage is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Facilities and Asset Management organization. The role will partner with cross‑functional teams to drive expense and capital financial planning, forecasting, close activities, and executive reporting in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment. The analyst will ensure accurate financial reporting, improve forecast accuracy, and deliver clear insights to senior leadership. • Lead expense and capital FP&A responsibilities, including monthly and quarterly close, forecasts, and the annual operating plan. • Prepare and communicate variance analysis, management reporting, and required corporate deliverables. • Partner with the Data Analytics team to maintain reports and develop new tools that improve forecast accuracy and provide actionable guidance to senior leadership. • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate cost recording and propose journal entries as needed. • Support ad‑hoc financial analysis and special projects as business needs arise.

What You Bring
Success in this role is measured by accurate, timely forecasts and financial reporting, as well as clear, actionable insights delivered to senior leadership. Strong partnerships across Finance, Accounting, Asset Management, and Analytics are essential, along with continuous improvement of reporting tools and forecasting processes. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Investment Banking, or a related field. • 3–5 years of relevant financial analysis or FP&A experience. • Proven ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships at all organizational levels. • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools. • Experience working with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems. • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. • Basic understanding of SQL or similar querying languages (preferred, not required).
