About the Role

The intern will provide daily IT support while shadowing IT Analysts, collaborating with local and regional teams to serve a national consulting engineering firm. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for technology, a business mindset, strong communication, and a customer-service orientation. • Provide daily on-site IT support and shadow IT Analysts. • Collaborate with local and regional IT teams to support a national consulting engineering firm. • Prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues for internal clients. • Configure and troubleshoot Windows 10 PCs and support Windows Server 2016. • Install and maintain printers, copiers, plotters, and other office equipment. • Learn and apply new technologies quickly.

What You Bring

Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field and have prior customer-service experience. Required technical knowledge includes Windows 10 configuration, PC troubleshooting, Windows Server 2016, and the ability to install printers, copiers, and other office equipment. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a high aptitude for learning new technologies are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with CAD/engineering applications, certifications such as MCP, A+, Network+, or CCNA, and familiarity with mobile device configuration, Office 365 suite, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals. These additional skills will enhance the intern’s ability to support the firm’s technical environment. • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field. • Demonstrate customer-service experience and strong communication skills. • Preferred: experience with CAD/engineering applications. • Preferred: certifications such as MCP, A+, Network+, or CCNA. • Preferred: mobile device configuration and proficiency with Office 365, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
