About the Role
The Submissions Coordinator for Transport & Infrastructure North will shape high-quality tender submissions and business opportunities across Downer’s regional portfolio. The role is ideal for a talented writer who can turn complex information into compelling stories while thriving under tight deadlines and collaborative environments. In this role you will support the development and delivery of bid submissions, presentations and capability statements, working closely with Bid Managers, operational leaders and technical experts. You will own smaller Category 1‑2 opportunities end-to-end and assist on larger Category 3+ tenders through capture planning, stakeholder coordination and non-price content creation. • Coordinate, write, and produce high-quality tender submissions, presentations, and capability statements • Develop compelling client-focused content that highlights features, benefits, and differentiators • Support Bid Managers on complex tenders through capture strategy, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder collaboration • Manage tender portals and ensure all submission requirements and deadlines are met • Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and shape bid strategies • Maintain and curate project information, including case studies, images, feedback, and lessons learned • Ensure tender documentation is stored in line with information-management standards • Participate in post-tender reviews to identify continuous-improvement opportunities
