Fixed Plant Maintenance Technician / Welder - Midshift

About the Role

The role emphasizes safety excellence and self‑motivation, requiring the technician to maintain plant equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform repairs, and assist with new equipment installation while keeping accurate service records and collaborating with production staff to minimize downtime. • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on crushing, screening, and conveying equipment. • Troubleshoot mechanical issues with crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and other plant systems. • Replace or repair bearings, belts, pulleys, motors, gearboxes, liners, and other components as needed. • Conduct welding, cutting, and fabrication to repair or modify equipment and structures. • Assist with installation, alignment, and setup of new plant equipment. • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records. • Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations. • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and manlifts for maintenance tasks. • Follow company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations. • Participate in daily safety meetings and promptly report equipment issues.
