About the Role
The Leasing Consultant role oversees all leasing, marketing, and resident‑relation activities for a property, requiring daily on‑site presence and a focus on attracting and retaining quality residents. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour, and sign leases. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up to close sales. • Complete leasing paperwork and assist with lease audits, unit walkthroughs, and turnover processes. • Track prospect traffic and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to boost traffic, maintain closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and address resident complaints, concerns, and requests. • Develop and implement resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Contribute to office, common area, and model upkeep and cleaning. • Assist in executing the annual marketing plan and conduct ongoing market surveys and analysis. • Maintain product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; submit weekly market reports. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and ensure consistent resident interactions. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor. • Perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, lifting up to 25 lb, working overtime, weekends, and in varied environmental conditions.
