About the Role

The position offers varied work, including master‑plan development, design and execution of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects, scope and schedule management, quality assurance, client and agency coordination, mentorship of junior engineers, performance monitoring, and support for business development and proposal activities. • Assist in developing facility and utility master plans • Plan, design, and execute water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality assurance • Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal teams • Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and engineering documents • Conduct work to professional standards and participate in QA/QC programs • Perform schedule reviews and develop construction schedules • Mentor junior engineers and project staff • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions • Prepare proposals for new business opportunities • Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations

What You Bring

Our Central US Water business is expanding throughout Texas, and we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction. The role includes managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining client relationships, and delivering projects on time and within budget while supporting client development and strategic growth locally and regionally. Strong curiosity and the ability to manage multiple long‑term fronts are essential. We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, a Texas Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain one within six months, and at least five years of water/wastewater design experience in the Central US (preferably Texas). Demonstrated project management experience, the ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail, and strong technical writing and presentation skills are required. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering • Texas Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within six months • 5+ years of water/wastewater design experience in municipal or conveyance projects, preferably in Texas • Demonstrated project management experience; design management a plus • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks with strong attention to detail, schedule, and budget • Excellent technical writing and oral presentation skills
