About the Role

Journeyman Electrician • Dallas/Ft. Worth. About this role: Perform electrical installation and service tasks to required specifications, including bending conduit, pulling wire, installing fixtures, devices, plates, switchgear, and branch circuits. Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings. Mentor, direct, and supervise apprentices. • Install and connect control systems, power distribution, and electrical switchgear such as panels, load centers, motor control centers, breakers, transformers, and disconnect switches. • Use multi-meters to measure voltage, amperage, resistance, and other parameters. • Connect branch circuits, feeders, and controls, including terminations and equipment. • Diagnose, repair, and resolve circuit and system problems using testing instruments, schematics, and diagrams. • Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations. • Perform layout for overhead and in‑wall rough‑in tasks and generate complete material lists. • Test and troubleshoot electrical systems, including circuit continuity for safety and compatibility. • Inspect completed jobs for quality, safety, and cleanliness; maintain good working relationships and a safe work environment. • Maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and assist teammates as needed.

What You Bring

Location and Travel: This role will have projects located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The position may require travel by car or plane and overnight stays for extended periods. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of electrical trade experience. • Possess a current state Electrical Journeyman license and valid state driver’s license. • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of electrical theory, NEC, and local codes; read blueprints, schematics, and specifications. • Perform mathematical calculations and proficiently use hand tools, testing equipment, and trade tools. • Exhibit strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and diagnostic abilities with attention to detail. • Maintain current certifications: OSHA 10, Elevated Work Platform, Lock Out/Tag Out, First Aid/CPR, and NFPA 70E Arc Flash.

Benefits

Compensation and Benefits: Total compensation between $30.00 • $35.00 per hour, based on licenses and experience. The package includes paid time off, full medical and dental coverage, a 401(k) plan, and other benefits.
