About the Role
The Fleet Coordinator role supports field operations by creating an organized, efficient, and auditable system for equipment and fleet inventory management. This position oversees equipment mobilization, demobilization, procurement, and transportation across multiple projects and geographic locations while ensuring vendor compliance and cost‑effective utilization. The role requires collaboration with Operations, Fleet, Procurement, and Finance teams and involves occasional travel, including overnight stays, to support projects in various regions. It combines office work with field duties, demanding physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols such as PPE usage. • Maintain an organized, efficient, and auditable equipment inventory system. • Develop and implement standardized tracking methods and minimum inventory thresholds. • Coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization while monitoring utilization. • Procure, allocate, and transport equipment for multiple projects and locations. • Interface with vendors to ensure delivery schedules, pricing, and contract compliance. • Verify equipment classification, rates, and cost allocations according to internal controls. • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and best practices. • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Fleet, Procurement, and Finance teams.

What You Bring
• Prefer prior experience in equipment procurement, fleet coordination, or materials management within utility construction. • Experience supporting unionized construction operations is a plus. • Associate degree or equivalent with 3–5 years relevant industry experience preferred. • Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations is beneficial. • Proficient with MS Office; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred. • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven environment.

Benefits
Compensation is hourly at $21.92 to $32.83, and full‑time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase plan, health, dental, and vision insurance, voluntary life and disability coverage, and paid time off.
