About the Role
In this senior role, you will represent the firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members. You will create basic designs under the direction of senior engineers, develop specifications, system narratives, and system layouts for a variety of project sizes. • Represent the firm with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members. • Create basic designs under senior engineer direction and develop specifications, system narratives, and layouts. • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects. • Supervise preparation of reports and analysis of system options and building conditions. • Maintain interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and consultants. • Monitor correspondence among staff, clients, contractors, and owners. • Oversee construction administrative duties such as field reports, RFI responses, bulletins, and addenda. • Conduct periodic employee evaluations. • Participate in the Technical Leadership Committee. • Assist the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer with training and staff mentoring.
