About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets the company's safety standards, adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects. Key responsibilities include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, following route sheets and maps to service customers, operating manual or automatic controls to load, compact, and dispose of waste, and interacting courteously with customers and dispatchers. The driver must also monitor waste for unacceptable material, tag unsatisfactory containers, clean accidental spills, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and complete required productivity and reporting documentation while meeting productivity standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections. • Operate the collection truck safely along assigned routes. • Load, compact, and dispose of waste at designated facilities. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and team members. • Tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures. • Monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable material. • Clean accidental waste spills following safety standards. • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness on each trip. • Complete route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports. • Adhere to productivity standards and safety policies. • Participate actively in the ReSOP safety program. • Provide excellent customer service and uphold professionalism. • Manage time efficiently to complete responsibilities safely. • Follow company policies and promote safety standards.

What You Bring
